Join the Barton Theatre Company, Farnworth and Walkden Brass Band, Maria Angotti, green badge guides and more for an event featuring performance, music, spoken word… and the world’s oldest public park! There will also be the chance to see a trail that local artist Paul Pickford has created, in collaboration with St Philip’s CE Primary School.

The Wagon Train is a pop-up festival in your neighbourhood with free, family-friendly entertainment happening in parks and venues throughout the summer of Salford’s 100th anniversary as a city.

This event has been created by Salford City Council parks team and Friends of Peel Park, for the historic park’s 180th anniversary.
