My name is Alison Fisher, and I am your Housing Officer in Lower Broughton.

I used to be part of the community safety team for three years before taking on this role. My job is to help people find and maintain a good home. I love helping people and making our community a better place to live in.

Caroline Boyle

Hi, I’m Caroline, your Housing Officer in Claremont and Weaste.

I graduated with a degree in housing studies in 1991 and I have worked in social housing ever since.  I have a background in general housing management, leasehold and shared ownership management and I have been employed by many housing associations and local authorities in the North West.  Over the years, my roles have varied, and I have seen lots of changes in the social housing sector.

I decided to work in social housing as I wanted to be in a public sector role, where the job is different every day.  I enjoy being out and about, visiting customers and the job satisfaction from achieving a positive result which makes a difference to the life of Salix Homes customers.

Cheira O'Byrne-Swithenby

I have been at Salix Homes for 5 years where I started on the customer service team as an advisor. I enjoy the different challenges that come with being a Housing Officer and the diversity of the role as every day is different.

Chloe Harris

Choudary Sadiq

Hi, I’m Choudary.

I’m the Housing Officer for Blackfriar Court, White Friar Court, Longbow Court and Riverbank Lawn.

I’ve been working in the housing sector since 2001 and I’ve never looked back.

My first role in housing was as a Housing Assistant, and it was a game changer for me, solidifying my career in the field. Since then, I have graduated with a housing degree from Blackburn College.

What thrills me about working in housing is that you never know what to expect; every day is different. It is also great to know that at the end of the day or week, I have gone above and beyond to help the customers.

Claire Jeffrey

I feel privileged to work for Salix Homes as a Housing Officer for Greenhaus, Muirhead Court, Artifex, Canon Green Court and Westminster House.

I feel I am part of a place that put the customer first. I feel that everyone should have the right to live in a safe environment and have somewhere to call home. To be a part of this gives me immense job satisfaction and I have met some amazing people doing this role.

A fun fact about me – In my younger years I used to be a dancer and I performed for Prince Charles at the Royal Exchange Theatre!

Ellesse Bell

Hi, I’m Ellesse.

I am the Housing Officer for Kersal, Charlestown, and Duchy. I have recently completed a degree in psychology and have a background in complex care and support roles. More recently, I have been handling tenancy changes across our homes, such as mutual exchanges, sole to joint, joint to sole, and assignments. I also liaise with other landlords and assist customers.

I enjoy the fact that every day is different, and I have the opportunity to meet our customers and help them resolve any issues.

I have worked in housing for almost two years now.

Katie Wilson

My name is Katie and I am a Housing Officer for Oakhill Court, Cheshill Court, Wynt View and Albion Towers.

I have been with Salix Homes for 7 and a half years and have had the opportunity to work in various departments such as Repairs, Planning, and the Environmental department. I became a Housing Officer in August of 2023.

I take pride in providing a high level of customer service and helping people find the right home for them. My experience in different departments has given me a broad perspective on the workings of Salix Homes and has helped me to better serve the community.

Hello, my name is Lucy and I have worked at Salix Homes for 12 years. I am your Housing Officer for Rialto Gardens, Ascot Court, Epsom Mews, Haydock Mews, Newmarket Mews, Thirsk Mews and Nine Acre Court.

I have previously worked in First Response, the Income team and I joined the Neighbourhoods team in 2020. I love that no two days are the same in my job and I enjoy resolving customer queries and issues they might be facing within their tenancy.

With 9 years of experience working in the housing industry, I am dedicated to helping people feel happy and comfortable in their homes.

My favourite part of the job is working with new tenants during the lettings process and helping them start their journey in their new homes.
