Get involved
We want to hear what you’ve got to say – help us make services we can all be proud of.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do at Salix Homes. We’re passionate about ensuring your voices are heard and providing opportunities for you to help shape and improve our services.
There are loads of different ways to get involved in your housing service and help make a difference to your community. Getting involved can be anything from completing a short survey about a service you’ve received, to joining a dedicated customer group or committee.
Check out the many different groups we run and contact our Customer Engagement Team if you’re interested in joining us.
Get involved with us
It’s pretty simple really – if you like what we do, let us know and we’ll keep on doing it.
If you don’t think we’re quite up to scratch, that’s ok – tell us and we can change things and make improvements.
By working together, we can make a difference to our homes, to our communities and to you.
This is your opportunity to have your say about how we deliver our services, so that we can make improvements that benefit all our customers.
But of course, if you’re giving us your time and expertise, we want to make it worth your while too.
Looking to develop your CV? We can support you to access free training to gain new skills and qualifications.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, experience new things, expand your knowledge and improve your confidence.
Want to boost your income? We do offer several opportunities where you’ll be paid for your efforts. Our Customer Committee for example are paid a salary in line with our Board members.
After seeing Salix Homes advertise the Customer Committee, I just knew I had to apply.
I have a passion for volunteering and helping people, but after all the help and support I received during a difficult time I wanted to do something to give back. I’m honoured to be able to the eyes and voice for my local community.
