Your right to a decent home
Salix Homes must provide tenants with accessible information about their rights, and our legal obligations as a registered provider. This includes the regulatory requirements we must meet in connection with the homes, facilities or landlord services we provide:
- the requirement to provide a home that meets the government’s Decent Homes Standard, and our obligations under health and safety legislation
- tenants' legal rights under their tenancy agreement and the law
- the right to a home that is fit for human habitation
- rights to receive a notice of repairs, maintenance or property condition visits
- the rights of disabled tenants to reasonable adjustments.
