Our Year in Review
It’s been another busy year for Salix Homes and you can read all about it in our latest Annual Review.
Every year, we publish a review sharing our successes and achievements over the past 12 months, explaining how we’ve responded to the challenges we’ve faced, and setting out our key priorities for the future.
We’re about so much more than just providing homes, we deliver services to improve lives and enhance communities, as well as provide support to help our customers to live, grow and thrive.
Social value plays a huge part of our business activity, so within our Annual Review for 2022-23 you can also find out more about the difference we’ve made for our customers and communities that goes beyond bricks and mortar – from supporting people into work to investing in grassroots community projects.
The past year has not been without its challenges, for both the housing sector and our organisation, but we’re proud to report another year of strong progress and growth, strengthening our relationship with customers and improving homes and communities across Salford.
Here’s just some of the highlights:
- Invested £5.76 million improving homes
- Carried out 26,931 repairs
- Launched our new accessible website, shaped by our customers
- Invested £49,805 through our community fund Springboard, supporting 44 groups and projects
- Cleared 308 tonnes of fly-tipping
- Supported 145 people with training employment and career advice
- Given out £30,000 through our Customer Support Fund, helping 127 customers
