Building Safety Updates at
Cheshill Court
Keeping you up-to-date with building safety matters at your block
Salix Homes is committed to being open and transparent throughout the building safety and remediation process at your block.
We have applied for funding through the Government’s Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS), which is newly available funding for social housing providers to help fund the removal and replacement of combustible materials and support wider building safety work on tall buildings.
This is a complex process involving various stages, and we will provide regular updates for all customers and leaseholders as plans develop. We will also provide opportunities for engagement, where you can share your views, ask questions, and help shape the plans.
Here you can find the latest communications and updates for your block, including letters to residents and other relevant information.
We encourage all residents to stay informed and get in touch if you have any questions.
Building designs and your feedback
Working alongside Michael Dyson Associates, we're developing the initial designs and exploring the most appropriate building safety solutions for your building.
We'll carefully consider your views alongside the technical information as we continue to develop the proposals.
Here you can see the latest designs, and give your feedback:

We are committed to keeping customers informed and involved as plans develop.
Homes England has published guidance, which explains more about the programme and what customers can expect throughout the process.

Cladding Safety Scheme Customer Survey
As part of the Cladding Safety Scheme, customers are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience of the programme and the communication and engagement they have received throughout the process.
The survey, co-ordinated by Homes England, asks for feedback on how well Salix Homes has kept you informed about the funding application, proposed works and progress at your building.
You do not need to wait until works are complete to take part. The survey can be completed at any stage of the process.

Building Safety Case Information
It’s a legal requirement that all housing associations, like Salix Homes, share key safety and building information about our blocks, with customers living in high-rise buildings.
