Our new Customer Groups

We’re recruiting to new customer groups 

We’re currently on the lookout for Salix Homes customers to join three new groups that will work with our award winning Customer Committee. The groups will help shape our services, making sure your voice is heard, and include the following: 

  • Procurement Panel
  • Complaints Oversight Panel 
  • Apartment Living Forum  

Do you have a passion for where you live? Would you like to be involved at the heart of Salix Homes?  

If so, joining one of these groups could be for you! 

About the roles

We are recruiting 8 members for each of our new customer panels.  

Members will work together with Salix Homes to ensure that our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Members will be required to commit time to attend 4 meetings per year, usually held over Zoom, but also commit time to attend training and work on ‘task and finish group’ activities.  

About the groups

Each group has an important role in the oversight, scrutiny and assurance of their specific area.

The Procurement Panel will:

  • Assist Salix Homes to shape the Procurement and Value for Money Strategies to ensure that the customer voice is embedded in procurement and value for money decision making.
  • Support Salix Homes to consider the role of customers in relation to social value outcomes with Salix Homes.

The Complaints Oversight Group will:

  • Monitor Salix Homes’ approach to formal complaints, including learning from complaints.
  • Support Salix Homes to continually improve the customer complaints process.

The Apartment Living Forum will:

  • Support the anticipated changes in the relationship between Salix Homes and its residents living in apartments arising from the Building Safety Bill and the Social Housing White Paper.
  • Monitor and recommend support service improvements for residents living in apartment buildings owned by Salix Homes.
