Community Skip Day for Salix Homes Customers

We’re holding a Skip Day to help tackle fly tipping and improve our community.

IMPORTANT: The use of the skips is for tenants of Salix Homes only.

Locations:

North Salford
• Cheadle Avenue / Corner Kingsley Avenue (Postcode: M7 3RR)
• Halliwell Road area (Postcode: M25 9SX)
• Pegwell Drive area (Near the park, Postcode: M7 2ZW)

South Salford
• Seedley Terrace – in between Cheviot Close and Ashfield Close
• Pomona Crescent, top car park
• Long Street, mini carpark at the entrance of long street (Swinton)

To ensure everyone has a chance to use the skips, we ask that you limit your items.

Please remember:
– No large items such as sofas, fridge freezers, or other white goods
– No electrical items, batteries, petrol tanks, tyres, or glass (these can pose health and safety risks)
– First come, first served – once the skips are full, they will be removed, so arrive early

Please be aware that any fly tipping after this date will be investigated, and action may be taken against any identified individuals.

Our staff will be on site to monitor the skips throughout the day, so let’s work together to keep our community clean!
