Thursday 22nd January 2026
The Angel Centre, 1 St Philips Place, Salford M3 6FA
Thursday, 22 January
12:30pm-3:00pm
A unique workshop delivered by Rainbow Mind and Mind in Salford.
Join a reflective and supportive afternoon focused on compassion in action – a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore kinder ways of relating to your inner world.
This workshop will centre on compassionate self-care, offering gentle tools to help soothe the nervous system, reduce self-criticism and build emotional resilience. Through guided exercises and shared reflection, we will explore what it means to care for ourselves with the same warmth, patience, and understanding that we so often offer to others.
The afternoon will focus on compassionate reframing, helping us to notice how we speak to ourselves in moments of difficutly and how this can shape our wellbeing. As part of this participants will be invited into a compassionate letter-writing exercise – a powerful practice for developing a kinder more supportive inner voice.
This will be a calm, inclusive and non-judgemental space, open to all.
No previous experience is needed – just a willingness to be curious and gentle with yourself.
The afternoon will begin with a free buffet at 12:30pm, followed by the workshop.
The event is free and open to anyone aged 50 or over. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
