Stroll for Salford

‘Stroll for Salford’ is a six mile walk from Hotel Football through Manchester City Centre – with a visit to the National Football Museum – and finishing at the home of Salford City FC within the Peninsula Stadium.

The walk will take place on Saturday, 4 October with the aim to finish before Salford City’s home fixture against Grimsby Town, as everyone who completes the walk will receive a complimentary ticket for the match.

The walk is open to all, with under 16’s to be accompanied by an adult (for children a minimum age of 10 years old is advised as the walk is six miles, but this is up to the determination of the parent.)

Registration is free to join the walk with a pledge to raise at least £100.

For each walker who registers they will receive a special walk T-shirt and at the finish line a completion medal and free ticket to the Salford City game against Grimsby Town.

The walk starts at 10am and should take around two and half hours to complete. The event sponsor Camptech is also offering walkers a 10% discount on the outdoor equipment they stock.
