You will need our permission for any of your own changes or improvements. We will ask you to complete a form with details of what you wish to change, and request information to make sure the work meets any relevant safety standards or legislation.

You will  be responsible for the maintenance of anything you have changed or installed.

What are adaptations?

Adaptations are changes to your home that allow you to live independently.

For example, if you have mobility problems, we may be able to adapt your home to help you do things more easily, such as climbing the stairs or getting in and out of your bath.
