National Customer Service Week celebrations

Salix Homes is celebrating National Customer Service Week.

The national event, organised by the Institute of Customer Service, aims to raise awareness of good customer service and showcase the vital role it plays in the running of a successful organisation.

We’ve got an exciting line-up of activities taking place throughout this week (October 1 – 5) to celebrate everything that’s great about our own customer service.

Our chief executive Lee Sugden, along with other members of our senior management team, will be taking place in a live Question and Answer session on our Facebook page, giving you the opportunity to ask them questions on any subjects that are important to you and your community.

The Q&A takes place tomorrow (Tuesday, October 2) between 9am and 10am and 2pm and 3pm, so we’d urge you to make the most of this opportunity by heading over to our Facebook page to ask your questions. 

We’ll also be contacting our customers throughout the week to find out what you think of the customer service we provide.

Last year, Salix Homes was awarded the coveted Institute of Customer Service (ICS) National ServiceMark accreditation, which recognises an organisation's achievements in customer service, and its commitment to upholding those standards. 

In order to retain the accolade, we need to speak to 100 of our residents to find out your experience of our customer service.

Our officers will be calling and emailing a selection of customers throughout this week, our customers can also access the survey via our social media channels. The survey will only take around 10 minutes to complete, so we’d urge you to take this opportunity to have your say.

“Whether you want to report a repair via our My Salix customer portal, ask me a question on our Facebook page, or you’d rather pick up the phone to one of our friendly operatives, we’ll be here at any time of day or night ready to help.”
