Salix Homes joins the DOSport All-Star squad

Salix Homes has officially joined the All-Star line-up of supporters for DOSportUK, an inspiring inclusive sports programme.

Since launching as a community interest company in 2017, DOSportUK has remained committed to their mission – creating accessible sporting and physical activity opportunities for people with disabilities.

Last year, we proudly awarded the group £4,200 as part of our Salix Seed Fund to help further their work supporting safe, welcoming spaces where participants can grow physically, socially, and emotionally. Funding went towards the Salford Knights inclusive basketball team where players come together to enjoy the game, build friendships and teamwork skills.

Now, we have joined their All-Star team as a proud sponsor of DOSportUK and have contributed £250 to the running costs for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Salix Homes’ Director of Communities, Warren Carlon said: “Everyone deserves access to a safe and supportive space where they can exercise, participate in team sports and connect with each other. We’re so happy to play a part in helping DOSportUK continue to deliver their vital project and recognise the positive impact they have on our communities.”

Managing Director of DOSportUK Jacob Meaton added: “For our members at DOSportUK, these sessions are truly life changing. They go beyond physical activity as they create a strong sense of community, connection, and belonging.

“People join us for many reasons from improving their health, to overcoming social isolation, or simply just to be part of a safe and supportive group. We’re incredibly grateful to Salix Homes for enabling us to continue making a difference and joining our All-Star team.”
