Salix Homes statement on attack in Crumpsall

Everyone at Salix Homes is deeply saddened by the shocking attack on the Jewish community in Crumpsall today (2 October 2025).

Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, friends and everyone affected by this tragedy.

This ongoing incident continues to have a significant impact on the wider area, including our communities in neighbouring Salford, and we are working closely with Greater Manchester Police and Salford City Council to provide support to our communities.

There is not believed to be a wider threat to the public at this time, but emergency services remain on the scene, so we would urge people to please avoid the area while the situation is ongoing.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep our customers informed of any developments affecting our homes or services in the area.

This is a distressing time for the whole community, and our hearts go out to all those affected. We will continue to offer support where we can and urge everyone to follow the guidance of the emergency services.
