A Christmas message to our customers

Our reception at Diamond House will be closed on Thursday 25 December and re-open on Friday 2 January.

Our Customer Service Centre is available for a restricted service between the hours of 8am and 9pm on 29, 30 and 31 December.

If you need to report a repair, damp or mould issue, or anything that could affect your home or health, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly so we can help as soon as possible:

Log on or sign up to MySalix to report and track repairs.

Or call our Contact Centre on 0800 218 2000.

With MySalix, you can also:

  • Pay your rent
  • Check your balance and download statements
  • Track progress on requests

As we approach Christmas, let’s take a moment to acknowledge an important issue that affects many men in our communities. Suicide remains the biggest killer of men under 50* in the UK, and it’s time for us to come together to make a difference.

As a Manbassador, a business could play a vital role in promoting mental health awareness. We provide everything you need to get started, including:

• Free promotional materials
• Free training to help you have open conversations
• Publicity on Salix Homes channels
• Recognition for adding social value

Reminder: Join the Salford Red Devils Foundation’s Health and Wellbeing programme

Reminder: It’s now easier to report loan sharks!

Reporting loan sharksStop Loan Sharks England recently launched a WhatsApp service to help people who loan sharks have targeted. You can now easily report illegal lending or get support through WhatsApp.

This new service is another option alongside their 24/7 helpline, email, website contact form, and Live Chat.

Available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Just message 07700 102773 and an officer will respond during those hours. Your messages are private, and the Stop Loan Sharks logo won’t show up on your screen.

If you or someone you know needs help, don’t hesitate to reach out.


 

Free SIM cards

A SIM card beside a mobile phoneWe want to help you stay in touch with friends, family, essential services and of course us over the festive season and all year round. We know it can be a bit pricey topping up your phone, especially at the moment, but we’re always here to help!

That’s why we’re part of the National Databank Scheme and can give you free sim cards (if you’re eligible) that are already loaded with data!

Message to high-rise customers

A parking space marked with a blue disabled badgeWe would like to remind all high-rise tenants of the parking regulations regarding disabled parking bays. If you have a blue disabled parking badge, please ensure it is displayed in your vehicle while parked in these designated areas.

For those who do not possess a blue badge, we kindly ask that you refrain from parking in the disabled bays to keep them available for those who need them.
