Income Management Officer

The Role

You will be joining a high performing team responsible for maximising rent and service charge income to Salix Homes. You will be expected to provide a high quality, customer focused service in respect of income collection and to provide support & advice in order to assist customers to be able to pay their rent & to sustain their tenancies.

Are you the right person for the job?

We are looking for someone who:

- has extensive experience of income collection & arrears management

- has a good working knowledge of welfare reform and how it impacts on income collection.

- is organised, motivated and committed to improving services

- is performance focused and able to meet challenging targets

- has excellent communication & negotiation skills

- has experience of working with partners, stakeholders and customers with positive outcomes

- can use their initiative, work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Please note it is an essential requirement of the post-holder to have a full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
