Our Customer Committee

The role of the Committee shall be, to:

Develop and maintain a strong, meaningful and influential relationship with the Salix Homes Board to ensure that the Salix Homes Customer Committee (SHCC) and Salix Homes Board work together effectively.

Ensure Salix Homes meets the expectations and outcomes of the:

  •  Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard
  • Tenancy Standard
  • Home standard
  •  Neighbourhood and Community Standard

Ensure Salix Homes meets the expectations and outcomes arising from the ‘Building a Safer Future’ reform of the building safety regulatory system.

The Role

Members will work together with Salix Homes to ensure that our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Members will be required to commit 15-20 per year, prepare for meetings, attend training and when required, work on ‘task and finish group’ activities. There may be other commitments including attending Salix Homes Strategy days.
