Free home fire safety assessment

Last yearmore than200 people across the country died in fires in the home. You’re at leastfour times more likely to die in a fire in the home if there’s no working smoke alarm.

Keep yourself safe and test or check your smoke alarms every month and help an older family member, neighbour or friend with theirs too.

It only takes a moment and gives your family and people you care about a better chance of surviving a fire.

If you don’t have smoke alarms, if they are damaged or if you are unsure if they are working then just get in touch with us on 0800 218 2000 or email enquiries@salixhomes.org.

We can come and check or install alarms or refer you to Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service which also offers this service completely free of charge.
