Services to continue to be delivered during second 'lockdown'

Following the Government’s announcement on Saturday confirming that the country will enter into a second ‘lockdown’ period from Thursday, 5 November, to help reduce COVID infection rate, we can confirm that our services will continue as normal.

Due to the COVID-secure measures we put in place when we reintroduced many of our affected services this summer, we are able to continue to deliver our high quality services to you and your community with minor changes to working practices to help protect you, other members of the community and enable our colleagues to work safely. This includes asking that customers wear a face-covering and stay in a different room if a member of our team needs to visit your home to undertake a repair or an essential safety inspection. Please continue to allow us access to your home to carry out this work to ensure your home remains safe and secure. Please also continue to stay alert and keep at least a two-metre distance from our team members.

Our services include:

  • A full repairs service, including urgent and non-urgent repairs appointments
  • Physical estate inspections from our Neighbourhood Teams
  • A grounds maintenance service
  • A caretaking and cleaning service in our blocks and communal areas
  • Patrols and responses to noise nuisance and anti-social behaviour issues
  • Continued planned improvement work to our buildings through our partner contractors
  • Building safety inspections
  • Gas safety inspections
  • Income management and advice
  • Support for vulnerable residents
  • We have however temporarily suspended any face to face appointments at our head office during this period

As with any organisation during these times, there may be occasional disruption to some services where colleagues may need to self-isolate in line with government rules which may unfortunately result in appointments being rearranged at short notice. We would like to apologise in advance if this happens, but hope you can understand that we take yours and our colleagues health seriously.
