Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs)
Helping you access information about your home and landlord
At Salix Homes, we are committed to being open, transparent and accountable to our customers.
The Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) are a government initiative that gives social housing tenants greater access to information about how their homes and services are managed. The aim is to improve transparency, strengthen accountability and help customers better understand how their landlord operates.
- From 1 October 2026, housing associations must publish key information about their organisation, finances, homes, services and performance.
- From 1 April 2027, eligible social housing tenants will have the right to request certain information relating to the management of their social housing and receive a response within statutory timescales.
Much of the information required under STAIRs is already available on our website. To make it easier to find, we have organised it below using the official STAIRs publication categories.
